Wine & Weeds Rescheduled!
Members of the Ocean Shores Fresh Waterways
Corporation (OSFWC) would be pleased to have you join us on Saturday,
November 5th for our second installment of Wine & Weeds along with our
annual meeting. We will be gathering at 5 pm at the Ocean Shores Inn
& Suites on Ocean Shores Blvd. Join us for some wine, snacks, and
information sharing. This will be a great opportunity to learn what’s
being done to preserve the water quality of our lakes and canals, how
you can take even better care of your own property, and how you can get
involved with our group.
“Who are we” you ask? The Ocean Shores
Fresh Waterways Corporation is comprised of your friends and neighbors
that incorporated as a non-profit in 1991 for
the purposes of not only preserving but improving the quality and
safety of our 23 miles of lakes and canals. This need continues as our
environment and climate changes, our population grows, and even more
people discover the benefits of our freshwater lakes and canals.
guest speaker will be Doug Dorling of Northwest Aquatic Ecosystems. He
will be discussing the 2016 weeds survey results and treatment, 2015
vs. 2016, safety of the materials used, what owners can do to maintain
water quality, and where we go from here. We will also have a question
and answer session along with information tables to sign up or renew
your annual membership.
See you there!
